In the lens and VCM (Voice Coil Motor) assembly process for smartphones and digital cameras, adhesive application precision directly impacts product performance.
AF (Auto Focus) performance is particularly sensitive to even slight variations in adhesive volume, requiring highly precise application control.
Challenges in Conventional Processes

With advancing high-resolution technology, more precise and stable adhesive control was required.
Solution
Implementation Details
To address these challenges, we implemented the following systems in the adhesive bonding process.
High-Precision Dispenser & Temperature Control System
By combining a high-precision dispenser with a constant temperature control system, we maintained consistent adhesive viscosity and achieved stable dispensing.
Precision Nozzle Implementation
Adopted precision nozzles designed for micro-volume dispensing. Established a system capable of accurate adhesive application at targeted positions.
Low-Volume (nL to μL) Control
Achieved micro-volume dispensing control from nL (nanoliter) to μL (microliter) levels. Enabled precise control of adhesive volume.
